It has taken me way too long to post an introductory journal. I recently revived this account over the summer and added some of my crafty things to it for everyone to see them. Fortunately (for my sake) and unfortunately (for my time's sake), I started my first semester of vet school August the 17th, so I haven't had any time to do anything let alone post on here.

School is going good, very difficult, but that's what I signed on for, right? So, right now, I'm knee deep in study material for Bacteriology and Gross Anatomy and have no time to catch my breath.

AWA 2010 kicks off this Friday!!!! It's my 3rd AWA, and I am so excited to head out of my crazy world of studying (well....I am bringing my study stuff for anatomy with me...so I guess I can't really say that). I look forward to seeing anyone that's going! I'll be re-wearing my Blastoise and Nidorina cosplays for the weekend (Blastoise on Saturday and Nidorina on Friday). The Blastoise cannons have been revamped and now aren't leaking so profusely, a joy to me and my back which will stay relatively dry this time! A few resistors were added to the lights in the cannons to make sure I don't lose my lights throughout the day, also.

Altogether, though I know I will be stressed about anatomy, I know I will have a wonderful time at AWA and get to see a lot of really great old friends and, hopefully, some new ones as well.

With that...

I'm back off to Bacteriology and Gross Anatomy studying. And, as I whine to my boyfriend when I'm feeling really pathetic, "Being a Doctor is Hard..." But, the animals definitely make it better. ^-^
  • Listening to: Dexter barking at the door.
  • Reading: Bacteriology and Anatomy notes
  • Watching: The clock speed by...

I am starting my first year of veterinary medical school this August and look forward to learning all there is to know in the field of animal medicine.

I saw you guys at MTAC! Your cosplays are amazing!

Oh and not to be stalkeresque, but I saw that you're in the vet field. I'm studying to be a vet too! It's not often you find anime fans who want to go into that field. Super exciting!

Thank you so much! ^-^

AWESOME! O_O It definitely isn't every day that I meet someone with the veterinary and anime interests that I have. I know two others right now, one from AL (Pre-vet) and one from FL (a wildlife vet). ^-^

You should totally hit me up on aim (Kitsune207) or facebook(Dysfunctional Kitsune)! I'd love to talk to you, share experiences with you, and tell you all about the ins and outs of vet school life. <3

I'm still Pre-vet, hoping to get on with life in the next year. -.- The chemistries are terrible.

I'd definitely love to chat with someone who's muddled through it and made it out alive (my only pre-vet friend couldn't get past chem/physics and switched majors--so discouraging).

I'll add you ASAP! :D
